Hybrid Stuff +
I like to do Digital but I also like the change in creative pace of doing paper projects. So why not combine the two?
Digital techniques are just another set of tools for the paper scrapbooker. The beauty of Digital is it's flexibility allowing the scrapbooker to take on as much or as little of the digital as you are comfortable with.
Having completed my two big Europe albums my focus quickly moved to a smaller project: Luke's Birthday, which I have been able to complete in the last few days. I just need to add some journaling to the Dinofabulous and Scanty Journal Kardz which I printed on Worldwin White Cardstock.
Supplies: Basic Grey Oh! Baby Boy Papers, Around the Block Brads in a Box, plus miscellaneous buttons, tape and ribbon. Snap Frames by Katie Pertiet, and Rock It Font. Album is Green by Pulp
The party theme was dinosaurs and so I wanted to incorporate them into the design of the album while maintaining simplicity. This is where my Dinofabulous Sets came in.
I laid out the pages in Photoshop by setting horizontal and vertical line guides and then printed my type and brushwork directly onto the cardstock using my Epson R 1800 Printer.
I then added all my photos and paper stuff to the page. Super easy and quick!
This week has been busy and seems to have passed me by. Planning my Paris Classes and working on new ART for the DD Store and the BIG quarterly sale which starts tomorrow. I will also be hosting the 12.00 Noon EST Web Challenge Chat on Saturday.
Don't forget Thrifty Thursdays today! My Artistique and Beary Newborn PageSets are 30% off for one day only.
Got to run....Getting the first of my new Invisalign plates today...Hopefully!

Did you use the Treasures that has a slight texture or the ColorMates? I love printing on the Treasures - that texture just takes the printing PERFECT!
