Just for the record:
Scrapbooking doesn't have to be complicated.
I dropped a couple of photos on this ready-made paper (UpcycledART Prints Paperie No. 5 coming to Designer Digitals this weekend), added a minimalist title and the basic details of my story, straight out of my mouth, as if I were verbally telling it. Simple as that.
- Happy to use just one product.
- Happy the page was completed in less than half an hour.
- Happy to use a couple of photos I've been wanting to usefor a while.
- Happy to document a little bit about *Us and Ours*.
"This is my paternal Grandfather, George, with my Dad,probably some time in the early to mid 1960's. Sarah and I called him *Georgie Boy* though never to his face. Out of respect. He was a difficult man in so many ways. I suppose I am a lot like him. Not only do I share his inability to back down and sheer stubbornness, but from these pictures, we obviously shared a passion for memory keeping too. I was thrilled to discover these photos of my Grandad, filming the notorious *Us and Ours*, a film that documents bit and pieces of life in the Davies family spanning several generations. Sarah and I LOVE that movie and always get a giggle when we see Grandad in his swimmies on the beach way,way back. So COOL to have these pieces of my heritage. November 2009."
This kind of stuff just makes me happy.

Such a nice nice page. Beautiful paper to look forward. thanks for the sneak!

Love your blog banner (it's changed since last time I was here) because it's so vibrant, and it shows You!
