This is my double-page spread for Week 7 which has been created using Templates 9 and 5 from FotoInspired Template Pack No. 2B with the following modifications.
- Create more photo opportunities. I replaced many of the single masks on both sides of the spread with 2 smaller masks. These are modified versions of the original mask using a brush + Layer Mask as well as those pulled from FotoInspired Masks No. 3. I also added small frames from FotoInspired Template Pack No. 2A. On the left side of the layout, I replaced the large frame with a MultiFoto frame from FotoInspired Frames No. 1.
- Emphasize. Stamp ArtsyPaint No. 2 and brushes from ArtPlay Palette Elegance on a new layer between the background and clipped mask layers to emphasize edges and allow the subtle colors to bleed through the photos.
- LayerStyles. Pre-made Layer Styles speed up the task of creating realistic dimension on embellishments. I used AnnaStyle Drop Shadows to also add dimension to my journaling on the right side of the layout on the central photo.
- Stitching. Add more stitching to your layout in a variety of styles. I combined the new BrushSet-style UrbanStitchez No. 2 with the existing stitched frame elements included with the templates.
