I spent some time over the weekend making a few pages. Partly a little art therapy, but also because I wanted to create something for both my sister and Mum for Mother's Day.
I've noticed I have a little more time on the weekends. Sports are winding down for the summer, Ella and Luke always seem to be out somewhere, and those weekend's, where there is a holiday, are a little quieter than most.
Process Notes. Clip the photo to a FotoBlendz mask and place the clipped image on an artsy paper from ArtPlay Palette Generations. Appy a layer mask to the FotoBlendz mask layer and modify the mask using brushes from same Palette to improve the blended appearance of the image. The layout is lightly embellished with UrbanStitchez and elements from ArtPlay Palette Generations. Add the title from ArtPlay MiniPalette Cherish.
Process Notes. Place 2 photos on an artsy paper from ArtPlay Palette Generations using the paper design as your guide. Apply a layer mask to the photo layer and use brushes from the same Palette to blend the edges of the images. Duplicate the blended photo layer one or more times, and apply different blending modes to preference, adjusting the opacity of each layer as desired. Embellish and add title as described above.
Process Notes. Place the FotoBlendz mask overlay on a paper from ArtPlay Palette Spring Due. Rotate and/or flip the mask as need to suit your image. Clip the image to the mask using the clipping mask function in Photoshop or Elements. If your photo does not completely cover the mask, clip a transfer from co-ordinating ArtPlay Palette Believe to the mask. Apply a layer mask to the FotoBlendz mask overlay and *rough up* any harsh edges as neededusing ArtPlay Palette brushes. Stamp WaterColor FotoBlendz on new layers in coordinating colors behind the clipped image layer and embellish the layout as desired.
